John A. Ellis
John A. Ellis is a partner at Trope and Trope. Mr. Ellis has been practicing law since 1965 and has focused in the area of Family Law in excess of 40 years. He was previously a partner in the firm of Raskin, Lichtig & Ellis and Lichtig, Ellis & Meyberg, and joined Trope and Trope in l997. His practice involves litigation in all areas of Family Law and he has particular expertise in the area of negotiation of settlements. His reputation in the Southern California legal community has earned him Martindale-Hubbell's prestigious "AV" rating, which signifies the highest level of professional excellence and ethical standards.
Outside of his practice, Mr. Ellis stays heavily involved in the Southern California legal community. He volunteers on the Judge Pro Tem and mediation panels of several area family courts, and serves as an arbitrator for the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
